Our Story

Like many ideas, Lizee was born from a simple observation and a frustrating experience that brought 2 people together.

As a tech professional when applying for interesting roles, Abhishek kept noticing a puzzling pattern. He'd receive calls about positions months after applying. Curious, when he asked about the delays, the answer was always the same: "We missed your profile in our initial screening, but when we manually reviewed applications again, we saw what you could bring to the role."

Meanwhile, Pardip was living the other side of this challenge. With ten years in recruiting, he knew firsthand the impossible expectations placed on sourcing professionals. "We're expected to be instant experts in every field," he said, "from software engineering to financial analysis to marketing." Without domain expertise, recruiters are forced to choose between two flawed approaches: spend countless hours manually reviewing hundreds of resumes (leading to fatigue and missed opportunities), or rely on keyword filters (which can't capture the context and story behind each candidate).

When we met for coffee one evening and shared these perspectives, something clicked. What if we could combine cutting-edge AI technology with deep recruiting expertise? What if we could give every recruiter the contextual understanding of a subject matter expert, instantly?

That's how Lizee was born.

We're not here to replace recruiters – quite the opposite. Our goal was to enhance their natural abilities by handling the tedious and overwhelming, but necessary, tasks so they can focus on fit and impact. Our expert trained AI technology works like a specialist in every field, providing deep, contextual understanding of each candidate's potential. This frees recruiters and sourcing professional to do what they do best: building meaningful connections, understanding candidates on a human level, and making the matches that drive organizational success.

The name Lizee captures the essence of what we do – from the French word "lisez" (to read) and the transformative actions at our core: analyze, optimize, and summarize. We read and understand resumes the way an expert would, while transforming them into actionable insights that enable recruiters to write their own success stories, one exceptional hire at a time.

What started as a conversation over coffee has grown into something much bigger, but our mission remains simple: To do the tedious really well so you can spend more time focusing on the exceptional.
